I have been custom designing and coding websites since late 1998. I come from a family of artists and attended the Massachusetts College of Art and have a strong background in design and composition.

My templates are designed using Adobe PhotoShop CS2, and very rarely Macromedia Flash. I also have experience with Adobe Illustrator, although I feel that PhotoShop is a better web design tool. I have been using PhotoShop for eight years now and consider myself an advanced user. All images are compressed for the web to give the fastest load time possible.

All templates and content is hand coded in TextWrangler in HTML, PHP, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). I choose not to use programs such as Dreamweaver or GoLive, although I know how to use them, because I find I code faster when I do it by hand. Also, it allows me to code in a way that allowing for faster load time as well as ensuring that my sites work across all the popular browsers and platforms. My TextWrangler documents can also be opened through any web building and editing software.

I need you to have a fairly good idea regarding the look and feel you want for your website. Links to other sites on the internet you like or a detailed description of what you want from me will allow me to best serve you. If you are not entirely sure how you want your site to look and feel, I suggest that you do a bit of online research before you contact me. If you have specific graphics you wish to use, these will also help me get a better feel for what you want as your end product.

The $50 deposit is to get the ball rolling. Since I will be dedicating my services to you 100% once I receive it, I want to make sure that you are also dedicated to using me as your designer. If you are simply shopping around for a designer you might like, I am probably not the designer for you. It is not refundable, but will be deducted from the final amount due.

Your $50 deposit is due once you have agreed to take me on as your designer and I have agreed to design your website for you. I will begin working on your site only after your deposit has been received.

Website completion is dependent on both of us working together. If you require content coding, I request that all images and text be emailed to me within 30 days of layout completion. Website text should be sent in its final, edited version. Once this is received, I will have all content coded and ready to go within 15 days of receipt. Most websites can be finished within 30 days from beginning to end, as long as you are available to respond to emails and have your website content ready to go. However, sites can take several months due to delays in getting information to me.

Please note that I charge $35 an hour to make revisions to text you have already sent to me.

Your finished website is only released to you once final payment has been made. Final payment is the amount due for the project minus the $50 deposit. Upon receipt of payment, I will happily upload your website to the server of your choice or mail your finished site to you on disc.
